At 9:30 P.M. Gerard arrived home. He yawned loudly and lazily, outstretching his arms above his head. He dragged himself to the bed and dropped onto it, falling asleep. He was woken up by Bandit early the next morning.
“Mm? Mornin’ Bandit,” He slurred.
“You said you’d play with me tomorrow.”
“Yay!” She squealed.
“I have to go to work. Bye, Bandit! We’ll play Tomorrow.”
“Bye, Daddy,” She hugged him and waved goodbye as he walked out the door.
Gerard still felt a bit hesitant about work, especially after his dream, but he still had to go. Tomorrow would be good. He’d be away from the police station, the prison, and he’d instead be with Bandit and Lyn-Z. He’d be safe from death away from work. It didn’t occur to him he could die that day.

“My FUCKING luck!” Gerard murmured.
The four policemen pursued Billie, who was now four blocks away, running through busy, crowded areas, ensuring the cops wouldn’t shoot. He shoved people aside, making room for himself and slowing down the police. Garbage cans and food stands were knocked to the ground in the process of creating obstacles.
Billie never slowed down; he kept a steady, fast pace, his feet hard on the ground, never looking back, focused on moving forward. He had to lose them, make some sharp turns, and they’d be off his trail. He turned right, then left, then right again, always maintaining the same consistent speed. He gained more and more distance, but the police still chased behind him. Before long, Billie heard faint sirens. He cursed. Now they were chasing him in cars-he couldn’t outrun them.
He’d have to find a place to hide. With a destination i
Jesus of Suburbia: The Last Chapter. The doorbell rang sometime later. I knew it wasn’t Jimmy because he had called me to say that he was going to hang out with Jessie.Jesus of Suburbia: The Last Chapter. by ~ZeeJustZee
I opened the door and was surprised to see Azura.
“Hello there.” She greeted and smiled.
“H-hi.” I stuttered. “Uh… Come in. Please.” I gestured over to the couch and led her there. “What brings you around?” I asked curiously. She lived on a reservation about an hour away from my house, so she had to have had an important reason to come by.
Her smile shrunk the tiniest bit. “I have a message from the old group. I honestly think that this is their issue and they should deal with it themselves. I’m too damn nice, so I agreed to pass it along.”
Great. I was overjoyed. “What is it?” I asked wearily.
She broke eye contact, as if ashamed. “They said if you dump Jimmy and his ‘loser friends’ they’ll think about letting you back in.”
I shook my h
A new life (chapter 18)The day goes by very fast, but don't all weekends? I went for a walk with Gee, and we talked about EVERYTHING from music to asparagus. When we got home, I played bass and drew for the rest of the day. I eventually went to bed (at 11:30, Billie told me I had to) and hoped for no nightmares. I was at a beach. I look down and I'm somehow wearing a swimsuit. Lilli walks up. When we were younger, we would always dream of going to beaches all over the world. "Hey, birthday girl. Sorry I can't be there." she says. "Oh, don't feel bad, it's not your fault." I say. "Well, at least you got my present." she says. "Your...present?" "You didn't think that Cleo would just randomly start liking you, did you?" she says, smiling. It was true...that was a bit strange. "Anyway, wanna go swimming?" she asks. "Is it...real?" I ask. She sticks her foot in the water. "Yep!" I stand with my heels in the water, facing away from the water, and fall into it. Kobra Kobra Kid. It was the truest name he had ever been called, Fun Ghoul thought, when he saw Kobra crouched over his brother’s crumpled body. The peroxide blond man actually snarled at Fun Ghoul when he tried to approach the two. The filthy tangle of his golden hair served only to emphasize the hungry taut lines of his cheekbones, his expression one of fierce ugliness. Fun Ghoul had backed down immediately hands raised in surrender, unnerved at the way Kobra Kid started him down. He was like a cat gone still in readiness to pounce.Kobra by *withinmeloveresides1
Never before had the ebony haired Killjoy seen Kobra Kid react in such a way. It seemed the death of his older brother had unchained a lurking animal from beneath his skin. But never before had there been reason to analyze the sharp glare of malice that flickered in his companion’s eyes after a firefight. Fun Ghoul too felt hatred towards Draculoids and the licensed oppression they stood for.
How the Televator was BornGerard shoved his sketchbook off the table, letting out an angry sigh of frustration. The clock read two-thirty-three in the morning, but he wasn’t tired. How the Televator was Born by ~CyanideTransmissions
This idea had been gnawing at his brain for a while now. He had written them all down… but something was missing. He wasn’t sure what, but until he found it, he refused to submit it to any comic company.
Mikey was asleep in Gerard’s bed. He had arrived a few hours earlier from giving a bass clinic at the Guitar Center a few blocks away, and since it was pretty fucking late when he arrived and he was pretty fucking tired, Mikey crashed in Gerard’s room, since it was closer. And Gerard let him, because it was highly unlikely that he’d get any sleep anyway.
After sketching until his hands began to cramp (around eight-twenty-one) and he had gone through his entire sketchbook, Gerard decided enough was enough and closed it. Maybe taking a walk or something would help clear his mind.

Party Poison had no idea how he wound up in the infirmary at the small camp Doctor Death-Defying had set up. The only thing he registered was the only substance redder than his own hair.
Blood. And lots of it.
Poison clung to the figure that the blood came from. Blond hair had little flecks of red, and a steady stream leaked out of his mouth. There was a hole burnt into the bright orange jacket, and the cobra emblem was now red, drenched with its wearer’s blood.
Kobra Kid was breathing, but it was ragged and unlikely that he’d survive. All things considered, he was lucky… Jet was already dead.
Poison’s too stunned to speak, so Fun Ghoul made it his job to try to get Kobra to calm down.
“Breathe, Kobra… just breathe,” Ghoul’s trying his best to keep his voice steady, if only to keep Poison and Kobra from freaking out. (Poison more so than Kobra.)
A whimper escapes from Kobra as his jacket is peeled off. That whimper turns i

The sunlight came flooding through the thin drapes sooner than Nuclear Switch would have liked, it shone onto his face, forcing his eyes to open. He tried to squeeze them shut to fit in some extra sleep but it was no use. It had been a particularly humid night and Switch's hair was damp with sweat. The perspiration was also the result of the night being jammed full of images of the attack on his and his team's base. The events of the night before kept flashing into Switch's mind as he slept. Images of the Draculoids appearing from the darkness, the shower of lasers leaving their guns, Liberty Ray's final scream as the shot hit her, her life taken far too young. He was sure he'd been mumbling various things as slept because Sunshine Devil, who was, as always, laying beside him, had shaken him and stared at him with a mixture of concern and f
Murder CityI raised the scythe above my head and grinned wickedly.Murder City by ~killjoy13109
No! Stop! Please I beg of you! Why do you do this? Are you some kind of sadist?
Maybe. Maybe not. You decide.
Thump! I brought the scythe down on yet another frail body.
No! Leave me alone! What did I do to deserve this? What did they do to deserve this?
Nothing at all.
Then why? Why do you do what you do?
Because. It amuses me.
I felt the warm blood splash across my face.
It amuses you?
Yes. Is it not acceptable for me to enjoy myself? And there's no need to sound so distasteful. I'm hurt.
The sound of tortured screams filled my ears.
Like I care. Your feelings don't mean anything to me. If you have any, that is.
Why of course I do. I am alive you know.
Are you? Are you really? It's a pretty miserable existence then.
Is it? In what way?
My arms proceeded to hack away at the soft flesh.
Have you never thought about your victims? How they felt?

Beauty In Ugliness ~ Chapter 1Beauty In Ugliness ~ Chapter 1 by ~MCRFREAKSHOW
It was just approaching the witching hour when a luminous orange glow swept through out the decayed ruins of the small forest that surrounded the abandon cemetery just outside of town. Watching from the cracks of the mausoleum door Gerard stood his ground firmly as the angry villagers encircled around his tomb. Men shouted in rage, verbal threats as they held up their pitchforks and torches high in the air demanding that “The Vampire” retreat from hiding and answer for his crimes. Silence fell over the raging crowd as the stone mausoleum doors swung open by great force and Gerard strolled out casually unthreatened by the mob. He stopped in the center of the crowd and glanced around menacingly at the petrified men who now hid their faces behind the incandescent glow of their torches.
“How dare you…” Gerard addressed the crowd in disgust. “-Disturb me in my time of mourning!”
Out from the crowd stepped a short, round little man of five feet. He
